Provenance

Founded in Verbier in 2007, Chaletspa operates quietly and selectively and extends its approach only to a small number of exceptional locations over time. The Chaletspa standard – the operating framework, the service approach, and the guest experience – travels with us.

Retreats

We are often asked to provide our views and observations or guidance concerning properties for rental or sale in Verbier and from time to time consulted about a range of other destinations for which we have trusted contacts or experience.

In the past, other destinations have included Zermatt, St Moritz, Gstaad, Geneva and Montreux in Switzerland. Outside Switzerland, we have also provided help and support for destination properties in the French, Italian & Austrian Alps, the Spanish Islands (Ibiza, Mallorca), Sardinia, the French Riviera, Bali, Cape Town, Jamaica, Japan and BC, Canada.

Our Founder

Chaletspa was founded in 2007 by Andy Turner, a private investor and corporate lawyer, originally from England and the Island of Jersey in the British Channel Islands, who has been based in Montreux Switzerland since 2010. From 2006-2008, Andy bought the land and developed the property branded “Chalet Spa Verbier” in the Swiss Alps. After 17 years, in November 2025, following a multiyear investment in the property, Chalet Spa Verbier was renamed Chalet Belle Claire but remains managed and operated by Chaletspa. Over many years, the property has been recognised by clients and the international press as one of the most luxurious 5* mountain retreats in the world.

Since 2009, Andy has supported owners and private clients concerning the sale and rental of luxurious spa rental properties and has provided guidance or support to private individuals in the context of opportunities linked to the sale and purchase of assets in Switzerland. Andy has a diverse range of interests and more than 25 years’ experience in the context of corporate, HNW, and family office style services.

Our Team

Our business is supported by a range of experienced individuals based in Verbier and the Swiss Riviera, covering property management, concierge, private chefs, hosts, housekeeping and therapists as well as highly qualified independent self-employed individuals and consultants who have been carefully selected to provide experience in our chosen markets. Our first option is to use individuals who we trust and who have worked with us before.
